AGN Virtual Meetup

Arbaeen Global Networking (AGN) invites you to its upcoming Virtual Meet-Up, bringing together Shia Men & women, professionals, volunteers, community leaders, and individuals passionate about creating positive change. The session will explore the role of Shia women in strengthening communities through leadership, education, professional development, social action, and community service.

The meet-up aims to create an open and constructive space to recognise the contributions of Shia women, share experiences, and discuss opportunities to increase their participation in community development across the UK and internationally.

Discussions will focus on women's leadership and representation within community organisations, the importance of education and professional growth, and the role of women in supporting young people, families, and wider society. Participants will also explore the challenges women may face when balancing professional responsibilities, cultural expectations, and community involvement, alongside practical ways to overcome these barriers.

The session will highlight the value of creating stronger networks between Shia women, community organisations, and professionals, enabling them to exchange knowledge, support one another, and develop collaborative initiatives with lasting impact. Particular attention will be given to recognising women's skills, encouraging emerging leaders, and creating meaningful opportunities for the next generation.

Through shared experiences and guided discussions, the meet-up aims to move beyond recognising women's contributions towards exploring how communities can better support, empower, and collaborate with them.

The session will conclude with reflections on the importance of collective action, stronger community connections, and continued engagement through the AGN platform, helping lay the groundwork for future collaboration and positive change.

Join us for a meaningful conversation on recognising the contributions of Shia women and exploring how their leadership, experience, and collaboration can help shape stronger communities.
