AGN Virtual Meetup

Arbaeen is not only a journey of remembrance and devotion-it is a powerful school of faith, service, discipline, sacrifice, responsibility, and collective action. Every year, millions of people come together to serve, support, and walk in the footsteps of Imam Hussain (AS), creating an extraordinary example of community, commitment, and leadership.

This virtual meet-up will explore Arbaeen as a school of leadership and examine how the values experienced during the Arbaeen journey can shape individuals into more responsible, resilient, service-oriented, and principled members of society.

The discussion will reflect on what Arbaeen teaches us about leadership through service, sacrifice, teamwork, humility, responsibility, patience, courage, and putting the needs of others before ourselves. From volunteers serving Zaireen to communities organising large-scale initiatives, Arbaeen demonstrates how ordinary individuals can come together around a shared purpose and create meaningful impact.

The session will also explore the connection between the spirit of Arbaeen and the responsibility of those who await Imam Mahdi (a.j.). What does it mean to prepare ourselves to be among the supporters of the Imam? How can the qualities developed through Arbaeen-discipline, loyalty, service, courage, unity, and commitment to justice - help us become better prepared for our responsibilities during the time of occultation?

Through guided discussion and shared reflections, this meet-up will explore how the lessons of Karbala and the living experience of Arbaeen can help develop a generation of faithful, capable, responsible, and service-driven leaders who are ready to contribute to their communities and uphold the values of Imam Hussain (AS).

Hosted on Zoom, the meet-up will include interactive discussions and breakout rooms, giving participants the opportunity to share experiences, reflect on their own leadership journey, discuss practical ways to serve their communities, and explore how the spirit of Arbaeen can inspire meaningful preparation for supporting Imam Mahdi (a.j.).
